Someone at my AD was very lucky

I stopped by my AD this weekend and saw a very surprising item in the display case! A very lucky collector (not me!) managed to get the allocation for the 995/135G "Eagle" - King of the sky pocket watch from the Tokyo Grand Exhibition in 2023. It was fun to get to see it one more time before it inevitably disappears into a private collection.
(Before anyone asks, it has already been sold and is not available to purchase.)

From photos, and seeing it from a distance at the exhibition, I had found it a bit difficult to distinguish the details of the tree and the leaves. With a closer look, the light does give more three dimensionality to the image and the details really come ...

Yea, that is correct. I'm certain prices vary for each piece depending on its details, but I rarely see definitive pricing information on Rare Handcraft pocket watches listed so it was interesting to note. Honestly, I would have guessed a higher price and...
